Lighting tab in model data
Exterior lighting allows you to account for the energy consumption of lights used to illuminate the exterior of the building. Options are available for scheduled operation and nighttime switching.
The schedule allows the exterior lights consumption to be operationally different, hour to hour as well as seasonally. Fractional values in the basic schedule are applied to the design level data below.
This data is normally used to represent the maximum electrical input to exterior lighting fixtures that is then multiplied by a schedule fraction (see previous field). Alternatively, the lighting design level could be a “diversity factor” applied to a schedule of real numbers.
This data is used to determine how the exterior lights are controlled. There are currently two options:
