Re: Simulating energy model with more than 50 zones

Hi Ranjani,

It could be that DesignBuilder is still picking up the Eval code. Press the Reset button in the Licence Manager and then activate with the .lic file again.

Best regards,
Darren

Re: updating windows 10

Please check if your laptop has a dedicated graphics card and set DB to run with the card. To check, open Windows Control Panel> Device Manager> Display adaptors. If it says only Intel then you have an integrated card. To set up to DesignBuilder with the dedicated GPU this can be done using the GPU ...

Re: Error in activation

We believe this could be an internet issue or bad connection to our server when DesignBuilder tries to validate the licence. The error message (-105) is related with a failed connection to our licensing server most likely caused by a firewall or proxy server between your computer and our server lic....

Re: Simulation Manager not helping!!

You just need to close the Simulation Manager dialog and you will be taken back to DesignBuilder simulation screen. You can carry on working on the model or load a different model and the simulation will still carry on running on the background. Save the model to keep the record of these last simula...

Re: Automation error

Hi,

Is it just one model this happens with or all models? If it is just one it could be that he model has become corrupted.

Can you try using our latest version from the link below and try again.

Re: Error during LEED v4 Option 1 daylighting simulation

Your model could be too big for Daysim to handle. Technically, there are too many grid cells.. Daysim is a 32bit program so it can only use 2Gb of RAM. Trying to calculate too many grid cells causes it to go over the 2Gb limit and it will crash. The error message relates to the fact that Daysim didn...
