GROUND TEMPERATURES UNDER UNCONDITIONED BUILDINGS

Postby robystar1986 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 9:07 am

Dear all,
I have a doubt related to the ground temperature to be set monthly under a space which is not heated or cooled over the year.
My building has 3 conditioned floors and 1 unconditioned floor which is underground.
I have read that as a first approximation you could put the ground temperature 2 degrees less than the internal temperature. But this case is different since you know only the temperature of the 3 conditioned floors (20 â—¦C in winter and 26 â—¦ in summer). So, how could I know the ground temperature per month? Even if I used the specific E+ slab program, which internal temperature should I set as input data, if I don't know that of the unconditioned floor?

Thanks
