Cooling Annual Energy

Postby Halac » Sat Jan 20, 2018 10:40 pm

Hello! I have two identical models corresponding to a building. The only difference between them are the walls, interior partitions and floors. The second one contains walls and floors with greater insulation. After running both analyzes, I find that the annual energy consumption for cooling is higher in the building with greater insulation. I find it strange. Anyone know what might be happening? Thank you very much!

Theoretically not possible. I suppose some value like infiltration or ACH (air change) has increased in your second model.. Please check individual heat gain component in the analysis tab and compare the two files.. It might help.
