Semi-exposed ceiling

Postby prichards » Tue Jul 09, 2019 1:24 pm

Hi, basic question.
I haven't used DB for a long time and just need to remind myself how I would assign a semi-exterior ceiling with an unoccupied pitched roof above. I'm a Level 3 assessor so only have access to 'inference' and 'library'. Would I be best to assign the ceiling as a separating floor or assign it as 'pitched roofs tiles, slates and similar coverings'? It's retail, no date, uninsulated.

Thanks

I'd go for "pitched roofs tiles, slates and similar coverings", but that's just a gut feeling. If it's semi-exposed, I don't think it can count as an "actual" separating floor.
