Mutiple EPC

Postby Cormac Regan » Mon Jun 16, 2014 2:30 pm

I produced a model to do an SBEM but now require EPC's for each unit within the building.

Can I just uncheck the 'include zone in thermal calculations' for the zones not applicable or do I need to do a model for each unit?

Yes-assuming all adjacencies to the other units are adiabatic/conditioned adjoining space. With v4 you should not need to worry about adjacencies to the other units even if they are unconditioned unless this is an Eire assessment (not currently available in v4 anyway) in which adjacent zones will have to be declared as semi-exterior with relevant semi-exposed constructions defined as specified in Technical Bulletins.
It goes without saying that you'll need to change the project details for each.
