Hi,

We have just introduced a circulation fan in version 4 and you can use this component to model a ceiling fan. There is a beta version of V4 available for download.

There is an explanation for the year always appearing on the output graph as 2002 under 'Hourly weather data' on the knowledgebase:

Steve,

Is the circulation fan (ceiling fan) component still accessible in V4.5? If so, is this a detailed HVAC component, or a compact/ simple component?

Thanks,

That link is not working for some reason. Please send the correct one.

Hi Nick,

The CFD circulation fan component is available in version 4.5 and it can be used to model a ceiling fan only in Internal CFD analysis.

Documentation about this component is still being prepared.
