CFD surface heat transfer - calculated

Postby chen1130 » Tue Mar 21, 2017 7:18 am

Hello. I am trying to simulate a test model how construction(wall, roof, floor) U-value effect internal temperature.
Model condition is natural ventilation without cooling, heating. Weather is using energyplus simulation results. External temperature is -5.2℃.
And all insulation conductivity 0.024.
I only changed construction's thickness such as 0.01, 0.05, 0.1 ...etc.
In this situation, I think internal temperature is increasing in proportion to construction's thickness.
However, temperature result is like this.
(0.01m = 7.34℃. / 0.02m = 6.89℃. / 0.03m = 7.23℃. / 0.10m = 7.72℃. / 0.20m = 8.12℃. / 0.30m = 9.04℃.)

am I simulating wrong or is it possible ?
