Winter design weather data

Location tab on model data at Site level

You can select the 'confidence' of the design data, i.e. the probability that the design data will be at the very extreme of conditions encountered over recent years. Select either 99.6 or 99% confidence (i.e. 0.4 or 1% chance of more extreme winter weather occuring).

The weather data used in heating design calculations:

• Minimum outside dry-bulb temperature - the design outside air temperature
• Co-incident wind speed and direction. - the speed of the wind and its direction for design conditions. Note that the direction is not used at the moment.
