Templates and Components

• Templates are databases of typical generic data.
• Components are databases of individual data items (e.g. a construction type, material, window pane) .

DesignBuilder allows you to build up your own libraries of templates and components. Note that each user on a computer maintains their own database of templates and components.

Template and component libraries are loaded into your model at the time it is created and new custom data from other computers can be imported at any time.
