Zone water heater heat pumps (aka Air to water heat pumps or ASHPs) can be placed at the HVAC zone level. To place a zone High temperature radiant heater, navigate to the HVAC zone, click on the Add High temperature radiant heating tool and then, making sure that the cursor is inside the boundary of the required zone, left click with the mouse to place it.
The Zone water heater heat pump component will be automatically positioned at the bottom of the zone:
Note: Water heater heat pumps (Air to water heat pumps or ASHPs) can also be added on the Supply side of an auxiliary heating or DHW loop.
