Optimisation - Analysis Type

Accessed from Parametric, Optimisation and UA/SA Analysis Settings dialog

Data on the Analysis Type tab allows you to define the type of analysis.

Analysis

The following options are available:

• 1-Parametric analysis - to run a parametric analysis with up to 2 design variables and any number of Output KPIs on the Y-axis.
• 2-Optimisation - to run an optimisation with 1 or 2 design objectives and any number of design variables, constraints and additional outputs.
• 3-Uncertainty/Sensitivity analysis - to run an uncertainty and sensitivity analysis (UA/SA) with any number of outputs and design variables. See the specific section on UA/SA for more details on this option.

Note: Optimisation and UA/SA results and simulation tools are accessed from the Optimisation + UA/SA tab on the Simulation screen, while Parametric analysis results and simulation tools are accessed from the Parametric tab.
